COVID-19:

Current Debtfix Clients

The COVID-19 outbreak has brought about unprecedented social and economic disruption for New Zealanders. You may be facing reduced or lost income during this time and need to adapt to your new circumstances, even if they are only temporary.

We appreciate that for our existing clients there will be uncertainty as to whether you are able to fully comply with the terms of your Debt Repayment Order or Creditors Proposal.

We are working with our clients, the Official Assignee (for DRO’s) and with lenders to determine a revised plan with individual clients (where necessary). This may mean a period during which payments are stopped, reduced or deferred. For some, it may mean that the commitment made will need to be changed, which is a procedural process that we will jointly to do work together on.

If you are unable to meet your current obligations or expect that your earnings or employment situation may change adversely, then you need to contact us urgently to discuss options.

We have put together some resources and information for self-employed, employed or those that run a business, so please take your time to look at page relevant to you, and ensure that you are getting the financial support and assistance you are entitled to.

We are here to help

Get in touch with us at helpline@debtfix.co.nz, phone us on 0800 DEBT 101, or chat with us on messenger, through our website or facebook page at m.me/debtfixnz.
